Why are we obsessed with "originality"?

At Merseas, we believe a good figurine isn't just adorable; it must have a place. Inspiration might come from the reflections of a city, a book of poetry, or the scent of a journey. When a figurine has a story, collecting it becomes more than just display; it's a journey of reconnecting with the creator's heart.

From sketch to object: three steps

1. Character design: personality, catchphrases, color scheme, and proportions. Designed at a palm-sized scale of 60–80mm to ensure manufacturability.
2. Proofing process: Resin prototype + silicone mold, or direct 3D printing of high-precision samples, after mold modification, coloring and component separation, and inspection of structural fit.
3. Mass production control: spraying color chips and Pantone numbers, matte/gloss surface treatment, packaging drop resistance test (80cm drop 10 times).

Limited and numbered: making every encounter different

Limited-edition , hand-numbered and stamped pieces are used to preserve the authenticity of the work. For collaborative pieces, a photo card featuring the collaborator and a statement of intent is included in the packaging, fully documenting the collaboration.

Pricing and Release Strategy

• Regular version: Stable replenishment, affordable entry point.
• Limited Edition: Special paint/holiday color scheme, pre-order only.
• Artist collaboration: higher craftsmanship and signed editions, selected by lottery or first released at the exhibition.

Details that collectors care about

• Coating uniformity, seam treatment, and standing stability.
• Comes with story cards and protective lining for repeated storage.

The gentle and clever design is not meant to attract attention, but to make "like" enduring, durable and patient.
